Teacher Report - Online Professional Development Portfolio Blog Style
This year I have started blogging with my students. It's been a bumpy road, but some of them are starting to get it. It's been bumpy, but it's been valuable.
I've also decided it's time to do some more blogging myself. In Wisconsin we have 10 standards for teacher development. In my district we are starting to be assessed on these standards. It's time to kick the professional growth into overdrive.
Blogging has been therapeutic in my practice, and now I am also excited to use it to demonstrate personal growth.
I am hoping my administration will allow me to use this as evidence of professional development and growth. It's perfect as a place to showcase book reviews, reflections, and can even serve as my online portfolio.
